I am starting a business. I was looking for funding, banks won't give me a loan, and looking for grants is worse than finding a needle in a haystack, it's like finding a piece of hay in a needle stack.
I realized that there have got to be thousands of women in my boat. My goal is to get us all out of it before it sinks.
I've created a Tip Joy account. If everyone donates a dollar and tells a few friends about the site, we'll have enough money to start giving out grants to unemployed and underemployed women.
There is obviously an application process. We'll talk about that in a minute.
